I am a retired IT Professional, a former State Legislator an Army Veteran and the Instructor for our Information Technology Pathways program. The IT Pathways program teaches Coding, Cybersecurity, and Networking to students at JELCC. I earned my Computer Information Systems and Business Management degrees from Calumet College of St. Joseph. I have spent parts of four (4) decades working and teaching Information Technology related subjects to Corporate America, Non-Profits, Higher Ed and K12 over my career. Over the past decade, I have taught Information Technology related classes to high school, middle and elementary students as well as coaching Girls high school softball. I enjoy helping my students to learn the skills needed to provide a foundation for understanding technology over a lifetime and prepare our students with a foundation for furthering their academic and career opportunities in the workforce. When not working I love spending time with my family, listening to music, and traveling.
