Course Information:

  • Gain hands-on training in installing, maintaining, and repairing residential and light commercial HVAC/R systems.

  • Build fundamental knowledge and practical skills for real-world HVAC careers.

  • Prepare for industry-recognized certification exams, including NATE and NCCER.

Ivy Tech (1st year, up to 19 credits)

HVAC 100 - Intro to HVAC Technology (3cr.) BCTI 130 - Intro to Electrical (4cr.) • HVAC 101 - Heating Fundamentals (3cr.)

HVAC 103 - Refrigeration I (3cr.)  HVAC 202 - Electrical Circuits & Controls (3cr.) HVAC 211 - Refrigeration II (3cr.)

 

Ivy Tech (2nd year, up to 9 credits)

HVAC 107 - Duct Fabrication and Installation (3cr.) HVAC 205 - Heat Pump Systems (3cr.) • HVAC 208 - Heating Service (3cr.)
