Course Information:

Classroom and lab activities include instruction in the basics of automotive operation, service, and maintenance. The course is based on unit information starting at the lowest skill level and building to employment level.

Ivy Tech (1st year, up to 15 credits) 

• AUTI 100 Intro to Transportation (3cr)  • AUTI 111 Electrical Systems I (3cr)  •  AUTI 121  Brake Systems  (3cr) 
• AUTI 122  Steering & Suspension Systems (3cr)  •  AUTI 145 Driveline Service (3cr) - Full Year

Ivy Tech (2nd year, up to 3 credits) 

• AUTI 131 Engine Performance Systems  (3cr) 

Students who earn credits in all 6 courses (18 credits) meet requirements to obtain a Short-Term Certificate (CT) through Ivy Tech:  

Maintenance and Light Repair, Certificate
