Course Information:

Considering a career in Television, Radio or Video Production? Have you ever wondered what it takes to make your favorite television show, news program or sportscast come to life? If so, this hands-on class is for you! Learn essential, behind-the-scenes skills as you direct, produce, write and record videos for the Daily Announcements, radio spots for our radio station (WJEL 89.3) and sports productions for the MIC Network. As an on-air star of the Daily Announcements, you will experience what it takes to shine as a news anchor or reporter. You will use software and equipment that is currently used by professionals in our 10 state-of-the-art audio/ video recording bays, TV studio and radio station. Participating in this class will give you the advantage you need to be successful in college, or even jump-start your career!
